Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering

EEE Home

The Electrical & Electronics Engineering Department was established in the year 2008 with an intake of 60. The intake was increased to 120 in the year 2010 . The Post Graduate programme with specialization of electrical power systems was started in the year 2012 with intake of 18.The department was recognized as Research centre by JNTUA, Anatapuramu from the year 2008.

Since inception the Department strives for excellence in teaching, research and professional services to the industry so as to achieve eminence in selected niche areas of Electrical and Electronics Engineering. The department also has the credit of organizing Workshops, Industrial tours, Internships to the students. Faculty members are encouraged to participate in research publications, short-term courses, FDPs and workshops by the management of the college.

Infrastructure facilities include well equipped laboratories such as Electrical Machines laboratory, Power Systems and simulation Laboratory, Circuits and Networks laboratory, Control Systems laboratory, Electrical Measurements laboratory, Power Electronics Laboratory, Electrical workshop and Departmental Library.

The department maintains excellent standards on par with other premier institutions in the state and is dynamic and goal oriented. The department engages qualified, competent and committed faculty to impart quality education in the multi-faceted fields of electrical technology. Faculty involve in research and development activities in addition to their normal academic work. Department organizes seminars / workshops / exhibitions / FDPs / Guest lecturers etc co-curricular activities also. Faculty member's particularly young faculties are sponsored to attend symposiums / Conferences / FDPs to enrich their knowledge to keep in tune with the late test advances taking placing in the electrical engineering field. Department also gets involved in helping student placements in collaboration with the college placement and training office..
